Delightful Hollyoak Cottage is within a kilometre of Bowrals cafes and shopping strip. It sits on the high side of the street overlooking the parklands surrounding the creek that runs through the town.
This cute cottage has been furnished comfortably and lovingly for your stay. Relax in the claw foot bath after a long day out exploring, you will be nice and cosy with the central heating in winter. In summer the front verandah is a peaceful spot for an afternoon drink taking in the greenery of the cottage garden or use the BBQ to cook up dinner. Hollyoak is ideal as a couples retreat or perhaps a home away from home if you are in the area for a few weeks.

All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover. BYO linen for the complimentary portable cot.

Pets are welcome at this property. There is a surcharge of $100 to have your pet stay. Please declare at the time of booking and refer to the terms and conditions regarding pets.
Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
Please do not charge electric cars using the property's power.
Notes
Code of Conduct: Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
Noise at Properties: NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Terms and Conditions: Detailed T&Cs apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the T&Cs with your other guests.
Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.
Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.
Long Stay Discounts: Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.
Property Information: Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.
Security Deposit: For most bookings, completion of our registration process and a valid credit card with a $1000 available limit is sufficient for the security deposit. For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit, held in our Trust Account, is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/agent’s discretion.
Peace of Mind: For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Hollyoak Cottage has an adorable 'old world' charm perfect for a stay in Bowral.
A homey little cottage to stay at. Very warm with central heating in main areas and bedrooms. We didn't bother using driveway as it was quite narrow for our car so just parked on the street. Check in process was very easy and it was handy to have fresh milk in the fridge upon arrival.the kitchen had everything we needed. King bed was comfortable. Good location, just a 4min drive to main street shops.
Great location, about a 1km walk from the cafes. Very close to Cherry Tree Walk if you need a stroll at some point in time. The heater is awesome for those cold days and the house warms up quickly when it is on. The driveway is a little narrow, so take care if you have a wide car
A lovely little cottage in a great spot in Bowral. Everything we needed for a long weekend with our 2 x littles ones (1 and 4). Communication was excellent including a text message during our stay to check everything was ok. Only slight issue were the very thin blinds in the spare room - we had to put blankets over the windows as was very light putting the kids to bed. Wouldn’t have been a problem with adults. Apart from that it was great and would definitely recommend! Thanks!

Lovely, cosy cottage set in a picturesque garden. Very quiet street but close to all amenities. We especially loved the conservatory off the bedroom and the vintage style dcor, which suited the period of the house perfectly. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay and would return.Fiona

The property has a real old world charm. The property has great amenities and very clean. Its close to a great walking track and also walking distance to the main street of Bowral. This is my second visit and i brought my pet who loved the house and the backyard too. I will definately be back.
What a great find. The cottage was a home away from home. It had all the comforts, central heating great hot water and a big tub. The bed very comfortable and the conservatory was an extra bonus. I will be back.

The house is well appointed with everything you need and nothing you don't. The garden is beautiful and the location perfect to use as a base for the rest of the Southern Highlands. Our dogs' access to the outside was easily accomplished and even on a windy stormy night, it was an easy thing to get them to go out via our bedroom door and, in the dark, to feel secure that they could not go any further than the back and sides of the house. A very comfortable house in which to share a warm winter weekend with friends.Janet

I had a wonderful stay at Hollyoak Cottage last week. The cottage was exactly as I had wanted, exactly as the description and photos showed. An original old cottage, repainted, repaired and set up with modern conveniences, but retaining the original feel of polished floors and rugs, original windows, clawfoot bathtub and modern furniture that looks appropriate for the era. And I loved all the doileys and ducks. The sheets and towels were perfectly white and new, the property was clean, the kitchen had all the crockery appliances and utensils you’d need, and the owner kindly left milk in the fridge. The gardens were well kept, pretty and looked appropriate for the house and the area is quiet. The addition of the sunroom is beautiful especially in the morning as the sun starts to come in, and the blinds mean you could block the light out if you choose. I had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the cottage. It was beautiful, quiet, and comfortable and had a home away from home feeling. Please pass on my thanks to the owner for keeping this property as it is with a perfect blend of the feel of the original but with modern conveniences. The booking process went smoothly, and the rental staff were very helpful when I telephoned. I would definitely book again in the future.Ann
