Upstairs is a light and airy open plan kitchen and living area with combustion fireplace, one bedroom and bathroom whilst separate downstairs accommodation has another two bedrooms, living area and laundry / bathroom.
Walk out from the open plan living area onto a great size deck where you can relax and enjoy both mornings and afternoons lazing around with family and friends enjoying a late breakfast or evening meal on the BBQ.
It is only a short 5 minute walk to the water's edge and to the shop to pick up the morning paper or Zacs Seafood Restaurant for a scrumptious meal. The local tennis courts and skate park are also only a short walk away.
It's the simple things that make Currarong so special, taking a bottle of wine and a cheese platter to the grassy foreshore to watch the sun go down after a day of swimming, fishing, dolphin and whale watching or exploring. Or take the short drive to the southern side of Beecroft Peninsular to see Point Perpendicular, Honeymoon Bay and Target Beach.
Please note that there is no internal access between the two floors, there is an external staircase leading down the side of the house.

Linen
All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple-sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover. BYO linen for the complimentary travel cot. BYO beach towels.
Property Specific Notes
Enough wood will be supplied for the fireplace/slow combustion wood heater for the first two nights. After that, guests must purchase top-up wood and kindling from the local petrol stations at their own cost.
Pets are NOT permitted at this property.
Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge, issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
Notes
Code of Conduct: Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
Noise at Properties: NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
Privacy: This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Terms and Conditions: Detailed T&Cs apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. Please share the T&Cs with your other guests.
Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driver’s licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.
Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.
Long Stay Discounts: Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.
Property Information: Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.
Security Deposit: For most bookings, completion of our registration process and a valid credit card with a $1000 available limit is sufficient for the security deposit. For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit, held in our Trust Account, is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the owner’s/agent’s discretion.
Peace of Mind: For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Stayed at Dunkarein in Currarnong. Excellent stay; booking in was easy; great communication. Ideal position! The balcony has an undercover area where, rain or shine, you can sit back and enjoy the view. Great BBQ setup and eating! Bathrooms had new beds that were very comfortable.
We had a great stay at this property. It had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable with super clean linen. Lots of beautiful swimming spots a few mins from property.
Great home in a great little town. Awesome deck and BBQ. Lots of beds and bedding. Check in is quite late and not very flexible. Checkout they were more flexible!
This place was in a great location, with the beach at the bottom of the street with a local shop there as well. Good space with enough room for 3 couples. Would stay again
Was nice to stay. The outdoor deck did not match the photo. Having to bring your own linen otherwise you need to pay a linen fee was silly
Big house in a great spot in Currarong perfect for a weekend away. We stayed with a group of friends and had a lovely time out on the big deck and within a stones through to the beach. Living space is a little smaller and there are no internal stairs to the bedrooms on the ground floor but that was fine for us. Hosts were super accomodating and easy to communicate with. Overall had a lovely stay!
Holiday Rental Specialist’s place was really lovely! We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the array of spices they had provided us in their pantry. Would recommend.

Please note bring your own linen or be prepared to pay extra. Unfenced location if you have small children. Outside staircase strange but workable. Outside upstairs deck area nice to relax in. Close to Abrahams Beach which is great for kids. Great area to visit, walks nearby goslang tunnel and a lighthouse.
Great place in a great location
Very cosy and relaxing stay. However, pictures are a bit deceiving in terms of size, the lounge needs a good clean as it is covered in stains and a few things in the kitchen were either wet or still dirty in the cupboards. But overall the amenities were good, lovely quiet street and the surrounds were beautiful!
All in all this place was good and everything we needed. Just not as much flexibility with it being run through a real estate compared to a private air bnb. Only issue was the cleanliness of the place, otherwise good location and easy to find. Communication was clear and quick with real estate.

Brilliant house and location
We had a great stay. loved the set up. Works great for two families. Our highlight was the outlook from the balcony, the giant barbeque and the fireplace at night. It was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Currawrong.
